How long have you been knitting & how did you learn?
Learned from my grandmother when I was 11, promptly forgot, and relearned a few years ago.
Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?

What are your favorite colors? Any you dislike?
Love rich Jewel tones, heathered colors and semi-solids. I'm not a fan of pastels.
Do you like Latvian type patterns? If so, what are your favorite patterns?
Love them! Haven't tried any yet. I love stranded mittens in general.
Do you desire mittens for yourself, your "special someone else" or your child?
For me.
What is the measurement from your wrist to the tip of your longest finger?
What is the circumference of your hand at it's widest point?
I'm a women's large
What other things do you enjoy knitting?
Small things - I find I don't have the patience for major projects.
What sort of needles do you enjoy working with? (straights vs circs, bamboo vs aluminum)
circulars/dpn's (I never knit anything flat on two needles anymore). Wood or metal depends on the yarn. I love my lantern moon sox stix.
What’s one project you’ve not yet tried but are dying to make?
My Dad bought me a beaded wristwarmer kit for Christmas that I'm looking forward to making. Also - I want to make a steeked cardigan. Need to get up the nerve!

I cook. I have kids. That's enough for now!

I like most things (I'm a serious foodie); I'm not allergic to anything.

What is your least favorite part of Winter?
I love winter. I love the fresh air, the way the landscape changes; the layers, the dark colors, the snow. I don't like slush and being out in freezing rain, but I doubt anyone really enjoys that.
